Self-defense is primarily using your head to prevent an attack. We teach you the most important self- defense tactics – identifying and avoiding dangerous or compromised situations, as well as quick and effective reactions to danger.
In this class, we teach you by developing your instincts, trusting your intuition, and using common sense to avoid danger. These tools will empower you to make a quick and effective decision, rather than panic.
In addition to training your mind, we’ll also teach you how to use physical force to protect yourself, including how to strike an attacker efficiently to survive and escape. We’ll also have you practice common social confrontations. You’ll first learn how to respond without physical interaction, then you’ll learn what to do if a situation turns physical. This class is specifically designed for beginners. Class size is limited and open to adults and students ages 15 and over.
